About Isabel Delgado

Born from a lifelong fascination with jewelry, Isabel Delgado is a Dallas-based designer, GIA-trained gemologist, and author. Her journey began at her mother’s vanity and through the heirlooms her father inherited from her great-grandmother—pieces that sparked a deep appreciation for the history and emotion held within jewelry.

Isabel brings a unique analytical depth to the jewelry world, holding a degree from the University of Texas at Austin with a major in Psychology and Business. This academic foundation provides her with a distinct professional advantage: the psychological insight to understand the nuances of consumer behavior and the business acumen to navigate the global luxury market with strategic precision.

While she entered the industry in 2018 through a mentorship in consignment sales, her move to Switzerland served as the ultimate catalyst for her career. Immersing herself in the epicenter of the luxury market—attending Baselworld and GemGenève—she was first exposed to the world’s most investment-worthy stones, including Kashmir sapphires, Burmese rubies, and Paraiba tourmalines. This exposure ignited a profound obsession with top-quality gemstones, prompting a pivot from sales toward technical mastery. To ground this passion she completed her GIA lab courses in London, gaining the technical proficiency required to work with the high-caliber stones that had become her focus.

Isabel’s brand aesthetic is a mastercalss in balance, merging geometric precision with a defiant, playful spirit. Her signature Initial Collection is a sophisticated tribute to one of history’s most iconic pieces—the famous "B" necklace worn by Anne Boleyn. Reflecting Isabel’s obsession with royalty, these designs prove that large initials are not a passing trend, but an enduring classic. Her Mixed Cut Diamond Initials utilizes a blend of diamond cuts that graduate in size to follow the fluid curves of each letter.

The brand's versatility is further explored through the Stephanie Collection, where pieces are meticulously crafted to feel like silk against the skin with an organic, snake-like movement, and the Catalina Collection, which focuses on structural, geometric beauty. Finally, the Maria designs serve as a tribute to the legendary Mexican star Maria Felix. Much like Felix herself, the Maria pieces are designed to be bold, experimental, and authentic, celebrating an unapologetic presence.

In 2020, Isabel returned to Mexico and authored her book, Under Pressure. The work serves as an educational guide for those looking to understand the importance of craftsmanship and gemstone investment, featuring interviews with industry mentors and the founders of GemGenève. Now based in Dallas and a mother of three, she has expanded her brand into the US market with collections manufactured in New York City. Her mission remains steadfast: combining innovative design with the highest standards of manufacturing and the top-quality gemstones that first captured her imagination in Switzerland.
